Archers Defeat Culver Stockton in Region Tune Up

The St. Louis Community College Men's Basketball team finished their final tune up, in preperation for their return to Region 16 play on Saturday, by running past the Culver Stockton JV team 85-60 on Thursday night.  Four Archers finished in double digits, as Dominque Loyd led the way with a game high 22 points, while Raushaun Amos and Sterling Wooten each scored 17 points and Marquis Pepper added 10 in the victory.  Wooten finished the night with a double-double as he also grabbed 11 rebounds, while Loyd wrangled in 9 board of his own.  Charles James, Pepper and Andre Pruitt each dished out 3 assists, while Pepper, Javahn Stith and Chris Gordon each added 2 steals in the win.  

STLCC improves to 12-10 on the year and hosts Region 16 rival North Central Missouri on Saturday at 3:00 pm on the Forest Park campus.
