The St. Louis Community College men's basketball team had to grind out a tough 10 point win on Tuesday night over visiting Lincoln Land Community College on the Forest Park campus.  The Archers turned to their size advantage throughout the evening and freshmen Cameron Lockett, 21 points and 8 rebounds, and Maurice Golden, 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals, responded by dominating the paint when they were given the ball.  Sophomore Marquis Pepper turned in a solid night by scoring 9 points and collecting 2 steals, while directing the Archers offense.

On the defensive side, the Archers limited the Loggers to 36.7% from the field and outrebounded the visitors 36-23 in the victory.  STLCC improves to 7-6 on the year and will get rest until the new year, when they travel to John Wood on January 4th.
