DaVante Harrell seems to have settled nicely into the St. Louis Community College offensive flow this past month and continued to build on his confidence Tuesday night in the 75-53 victory over the Washington University JV team. Harrell scored 17 points and grabbed a game high 13 rebounds on the night to pace the Archers. Sean Rigmaiden added 17 points, as well, to go along with 3 assists while Todd Simms rounded out the double figure scoring for STLCC with 11 points, while also adding 3 assists and a game high 5 steals.
The Archers shook off a sluggish start to take a 38-28 lead into halftime and pushed the lead up to 26 points numerous times in the second half. Coach Collins had a chance to use the entire bench, as every Archer who was dressed saw game action. St. Louis improves to 13-8 on the season and returns to Region 16 play on Saturday with an important date with North Central Missouri College at 3:00 pm on the Forest Park campus.
