Archers Defense Leads to Upset in Springfield

The Archers took to the road for the last game of the 2016 calender year on Monday night in Springfield, Il to take on 16th ranked Lincoln Land Community College.  STLCC continued the recent theme of strong defense and community scoring in racing past LLCC 70-48.  The Archers held Lincoln Land to thirty seven percent from the field and forced twenty eight turnovers in the lopsided victory.  

A trio of players, Sean Rigmaiden, Miles Nettles and Brian Enriquez scored thirteen points on the night pace the offense, with Todd Simms adding twelve points and five rebounds.  DaVante Harrell added eight points and a game high seven rebounds in the road victory.  

The Archers, improved to 8-4 on the year, earn a well deserved Holiday break and return to action on Wednesday January 4th vs. John Wood Community College at 7:30 pm on the Forest Park campus.
