Quick Start Propels Archers to Region 16 Win

The St. Louis Community College men's basketball team used a fast start on Saturday afternoon to run past North Central Missouri College 74-58 on the Forest Park campus.  Sean Rigmaiden paced the Archers with 20 points and 7 assists, DaVante Harrell added a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds and Todd Simms added 15 points and collected a team high 4 steals in the victory.  

Defensively, the Archers held North Central Missouri to 29.4 points below their season average, while forcing them to shoot 35.8 percent from field, including only 2-17 from beyond the three point arc. STLCC improves to 14-8 on the year and 2-1 in Region 16 play, and returns to action on Monday night for an 8:00 pm matchup against the Lindenwood-Belleville JV team.
