In a doubleheader between St. Louis Community College and Three Rivers Community College, both teams showcased their strengths and weaknesses, resulting in contrasting outcomes.

The first game was a tight battle, with St. Louis edging out Three Rivers with a final score of 2-1. St. Louis took an early lead with runs in the fourth and sixth innings. Pitcher Connor Jackson delivered an outstanding performance for St. Louis, pitching 4.2 innings with no earned runs and five strikeouts. Zane Roos was instrumental on the offensive side, scoring both runs for St. Louis, while Ian Funk drove in a run with a single. Three Rivers struggled offensively, with Peyton Nelson scoring their lone run. Pitcher Stuart Tharle put up a solid performance for Three Rivers, allowing only two hits and one earned run in five innings.

However, in the second game, Three Rivers bounced back strongly, defeating St. Louis 13-8. St. Louis displayed a strong offensive effort with 14 hits, including standout performances from Ryan Dickherbe, Garrison Scott, and Zane Roos. Dickherbe had a double and two RBIs, while Scott and Roos each contributed a home run. Despite their offensive efforts, St. Louis struggled on the pitching side, giving up 13 runs on 11 hits. Three Rivers' pitching staff effectively contained St. Louis' hitters, securing the win.

St. Louis Community College will look to build on their strong pitching performance in the first game and offensive display in the second game as they continue their season.
