The STLCC baseball team recently won three out of four games against MCC in a series that was played on Thursday, March 21 and Saturday, March 23. On Thursday, the Archers traveled to Kansas City, MO to take on the Wolves. STLCC fell in game one by a score of 6-3, before getting the offense going in game two for a 14-5 win. On Saturday, the Archers took on MCC at Meramec and came away with two more wins. (5-1 and 9-1) STLCC was led offensively during the week by Kyle O'Brien, who earned Region XVI Hitter of the Week honors after batting .650 with five doubles, one home run, and collecting eight RBI. Game four starter Billy Heil also earned recognition as the Region XVI Pitcher of the Week after collecting a win and going eight innings and only allowing one run on two hits.
The Archers will be back in action on Wednesday, March 27 when the team travels to Hillsboro, MO to take on Jefferson College in a single nine inning game beginning at 3:00pm.
