Bats Wake Up in 13-5 Win Over Lake Land

The STLCC Baseball team has been waiting for some life from the bats, and on Tuesday afternoon the offense got going early and often in a 13-5 win over Lake Land.  Anthony Rask collected 2 doubles and drove in 3 runs, including a RBI double in the bottom of the 1st inning to propel the Archers to a 5 run first inning.  Tyler Hash had 3 hits, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 runs, while Will Sprick and McGwire Dean each had 2 hits and 2 RBI, each hammering home runs on the day.  Simon Desnoyer, Jack Kane, Dustin Buckner each had 2 hits, while Desnoyer and Buckner each drove in a pair of runs.   

On the mound, Lucas Zurliene picked up the win to move to 1-0, while throwing four and two-thirds innings of relief, allowing a run and striking out 4 hitters.  

STLCC moves to 9-9 on the season.
