After switching the Saturday doubleheader to Wednesday afternoon, the Archers baseball team dropped a pair of games to #3 ranked Crowder College on the Meramec campus, losing the opener 5-1 and the nightcap 17-0.

Game 1

Matthew Blake fell to 0-4 on the year as he got the start on the mound, only allowing one earned run, while giving up three hits and collecting three strikeouts in five innings, while Jackson Schmedding struck our three hitters and didn't allow a baserunner in two innings of relief work.  Jackson Boschert collected two hits and scored the only STLCC run when he crossed the plate on a line drive off of the bat of Tony Rask that the Roughrider shortstop could not hold to.

Game 2

Not much went right for STLCC in game two, as they were no hit by Aaron Ashby, who also collected fourteen strikeouts.  Jackson Keller fell to 1-1 on the year as he pitched one and a third innings on the day.

The Archers fall to 13-11 and will make a quick turnaround and travel to Crowder for a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon.
