The STLCC volleyball team went 1-3 at the Southwestern Illinois College Volleyball Tournament, which was played on Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22. On Friday, the Lady Cardinals defeated Lindenwood-Belleville University 3-0 and fell to Kaskaskia College 3-1. STLCC wrapped up the tournament on Saturday, falling to #4 Parkland College 3-0 and host Southwestern Illinois College 3-1. Lady Archer standouts from the tournament included Trisha Gaylord (31 kills), Lauren Partney (67 assists), and Emma Pramik (52 diggs).
STLCC falls to 3-7 on the season. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, September 18 at home against MCCAC opponent Mineral Area College.
