The STLCC women's soccer team fell in a hard fought match against Metropolitan CC on Saturday, September 15. Kelton Hewitt put the Lady Archers on the board at 12:15, but the lead would'nt last. At 42:26, the MCC Wolves tied things up at one. After the second half failed to see any scoring, the Wolves ended the contest with a goal in the second overtime at 104:10. Kelly Cates made nine saves for the Lady Archers in the match.
The Lady Archers fall to 0-1 in Region XVI and 3-3 overall. They will be back in action on Tuesday, September 18 in Hillsboro, MO against MCCAC Conference oppontent Jefferson College.
